Randy Ziebarth

Mr. Ziebarth is a seasoned energy industry veteran and brings 35 years of midstream and upstream management experience to the Nuevo team. He has served as Vice President of Torch Energy Advisors since 1998, having originally joined the company in 1993 to assist in the operational management of Torch Energy’s midstream assets. In his current capacity, Mr. Ziebarth is responsible for the overall management of Torch’s midstream business, including operations, commercial management, business and project development, product marketing, acquisitions and divestitures, and analysis and negotiation of agreements and deal structures at Nuevo Midstream. He has had direct P&L responsibility at Nuevo and has both originated and led the acquisition of numerous midstream assets, including all of the assets currently held by Nuevo Midstream. He has also led the divestiture team and negotiations for the sale of numerous facilities on behalf of Torch Energy and its affiliated companies.

Mr. Ziebarth began his professional oil and gas career in 1976 in various upstream operational capacities, including production, drilling and reservoir positions. He has a broad experience base in upstream and midstream operations with midsized independent companies including Diamond Shamrock, Devon Energy and Plains Resources. He also has extensive gas marketing experience, including a leadership role in the formation of a gas marketing subsidiary at Plains Resources.
